I came to Chicago for my first time and stayed within walking distance of this cafe. So glad I visited. The coffee I got was very yummy, I went with an iced almond joy latte they had on special based on the owner's suggestion. He even came and checked on me to see what I thought while I was sitting outside drinking it, and he even delivered coffee to customers that were waiting outside which I thought was so cool. I will definitely come back again in the future!
Had the specialty drink with lavender, honey, and a dash of cayenne pepper. I would get it again. Family got a chai (it was delicious), a caramel frappe (basic but yummy), and a caramel apple specialty drink (also delicious). Doppio is a recommended visit. We'll be back again.

Lovely spot! They have some really cool specialty lattes and tea drinks and a good mix of savory and sweet desserts - the feta puff pastry and pumpkin danish were fantastic!
Service was very fast even on a Saturday morning.
The espresso here is superb. Dark, full-bodied, perfectly pulled. I also enjoyed the ENORMOUS gluten free oatmeal bar. I only remembered to take a photo after I'd eaten half of it. Check it out! Truly generous proportions.
This was my first visit and i will def be back. A beautifully maintained, unassuming neighborhood spot.
I’ve been going to this local coffee shop for a little over a year now since moving to the area. I love how friendly and personable the staff is. Their drip coffee is delicious. I normally get the Rhythmic Blends House and stock up on a bag of the same beans. They have a great selection of pastries too. I grab a couple pain au chocolat. I always take notice of the bright, happy house music playing softly in the background when I visit, and today asked the owner who programs it. He does! He’s also a DJ. It was a nice bonding moment as I too am a DJ. Love this place and highly recommend it!
Highly recommend: great coffee shop and good atmosphere, will be back. Good specialty lattes.
